The Provincial Council of Soria and the Castilian and Leonese Institute of Language are organizing, together with SoriamuséuM, at the Provincial Museum of Popular Costume in Morón de Almazán the meeting of readers entitled Tradition in Popular Tales, an initiative aimed at users of reading clubs of the provincial library system of the province of Soria. This activity proposes a reflection on the traditional tale and its evolution, taking as a reference a classic and popular text that will be read and discussed in depth by the participants.

Participants will have to reread the classic tale The Brave Little Tailor by the Brothers Grimm in three different versions, dated 1812, 1857 and 2014. This exercise, led by a coordinator, will allow for a debate to begin on the ways in which the traditional tale has survived and the evolution of its values in today's society. This initiative will be enriched by the reflections, comments and assessments provided by the participants in their interventions.

This meeting of readers is complemented by a guided tour of the exhibition Vestir de propio , scheduled at the Museo Provincial del Traje Popular, which aims to pay tribute to the figure of the traditional tailor. This exhibition is based on the popular clothing of the province of Soria and is based on the exhibition of own funds; some pieces on display are icons of popular clothing along with many others that are being exhibited for the first time. The activity is aimed at an adult audience and four sessions are scheduled on four different days - 5, 17, 21 and 29 November - for a maximum of 20 users per session.
