JUAN HEDO AND ADOLFO DIAZ "SONGS OF TODAY AND FOREVER"
-Traditional/popular sung songs and classical instrumentals. Various styles and Mediterranean countries. Traditional songs: fado, tango, bolero, waltzes, pasodobles, jotas, and coplas. Also included are songs by the singer himself, Juan Hedo. Juan Hedo and Adolfo Díaz have been performing concerts as a duo since 2005.
The duo has performed at the prestigious Folk- Segovia Festival (2008) and three times at the Juan Bravo Theatre (Segovia) and the José Zorrilla Theatre (Valladolid). They have also performed at the Caja Avila Theatre and the Congress and Exhibition Palace (Avila). Noteworthy performances are at the Cecilio Rodriguez Gardens (Madrid) and the Ateneo de Madrid and in the province of Segovia at the Turégano Theatre, Coca Castle, the Cloister of Santa María la Real de Nieva, the Ducal Palace of Medinaceli and the Aula Magna of the IE, in Segovia.
Members: Juan Hedo (voice and guitar), Adolfo Díaz (lute, bandurria and mandolin).
Juan Hedo Composer and singer. His first song dates back to 1994. He has produced a dozen albums and among his most relevant works is the CD Bruxelles-Madrid produced and published in Belgium between 2001 and 2005 for the independent label GOTIM. Also the CD La plaza del 2 de mayo (2010), produced and published by Juan A. Arteche, -founder of the first Spanish folk group "Nuestro pequeño Mundo". Adolfo Díaz, (Cebreros, 1940) Virtuoso of the bandurria and the lute, instruments that he began to play from the age of eight. Of traditional customs he has belonged to various groups of Choirs, Dances and Rondallas of the province of Avila.
