Families will attend a large-scale reenactment of six constellations. They will be positioned on the floor and represented with lights, both the stars and the imaginary line that connects them. When the audience arrives, there is ambient lighting, but the stars are off. The children volunteer to light the stars. Once we have lit the Big Dipper, the Little Dipper, and the Dragon, I will tell the legend that explains why these constellations are in the sky. We will then do the same with Perseus, Cassiopeia, and Andromeda. We will also provide some simple information on how to find them in the sky. Once the reenactment is over, families can get up, walk around the constellations, and take photos of them. During the reenactment, the audience sits around them and brings a blanket, mat, or other object to sit on while looking at the constellations. It can be done outdoors, in places like gardens or sports fields (grid flooring is not allowed). Or indoors, in places like a large hall or a sports field. You must be available 3 hours and 30 minutes before the show starts. It must be dark, so the schedule depends on the time of year. Children's capacity: 70. Adult capacity: If the audience space is large, there's no need to limit the capacity.
Genre: Theatre. Style: Multidisciplinary. Duration: 90 min.
Show included in the programming of the Scenic Circuits of Castilla y León.
