On Friday, April 25th at 7:30 p.m. , in the Audition Room of the Palencia Public Library , the presentation of the book Invitation to a Filandón by Arancha Naranjo will take place.

A Filandón was generally a gathering by the fire during the long winters, where stories were told, small craftsmen made tools, or warm clothes were knitted. This book is conceived as short stories that could easily have been told sitting by a fireplace, enjoying an evening in company and letting the imagination fill the downtime. Many things happen in the stories in the book: friendships, love and heartbreak, a pandemic, etc., where the common thread in the protagonists' lives is the strength to move forward and the transformation that this entails.
