II SEED EXCHANGE DAY

The members of Zamora in Transition have organized a seed bank for our use and exchange, collecting the seeds that each of us contributes and looking for native seeds from Zamora or from companies that guarantee this in order to preserve genetic diversity. We have also carried out a process of collecting seeds from our garden.
At this moment in history, it is vitally important to collect, save and exchange native seeds because the security of having quality food in the future depends on this.
The conference "Seeds and food security" will be given by Leslie Griffiths, from the Entretantos Foundation, and Patricia Luceño, from the Seed Library of Valladolid, Ecologists in Action.

If you are interested, come on Saturday, March 15th and we can exchange not only seeds but also ideas and experiences.

ZAMORA ASSOCIATION IN TRANSITION

The Transition is an ongoing eco-social experiment, a movement of communities coming together to reimagine and rebuild our world through a process of creating a healthy human culture. It is a movement open to all interested people.
Our philosophy is to create solutions together. We seek to cultivate a friendly culture, focused on connection with oneself, with others and with nature. We want to recover the economy, by starting up, reimagining work, retraining ourselves and weaving networks of connection and support.
