The wonderful adventures of Ulysses by Cándido Theatrical Productions

The idea is to bring children closer to the adventures of Ulysses told in Homer's Odyssey based on the most emblematic and attractive stories for them in this unique initiation journey. We achieve this through,

  1. LISTENING AND ATTENTION, based on reading (of short stories) of the Odyssey
  2. The VISION and representation of these stories to then establish a workshop related to what the children have just seen and heard.

Through theatre, we aim to offer a passive activity of attention, understanding and imagination, and another active, didactic and enriching activity of creation and construction of what is seen and heard through our own imagination.

The obstacles that the narrator encounters on this continuous journey through the Homeric world are metaphors and symbols. Ulysses' pilgrimage and his adventures are a pretext to show the life journey of each one of us.
