On the occasion of the partial collapse of the church of San Esteban in Villamayor de Campos in 1999, the Junta de Castile and León undertook its rehabilitation and conversion into a Center from which to disseminate one of the most characteristic manifestations of Mudejar art: the Carpentry of the White.

Considering the existence of an extraordinary wooden roof in the main chapel, miraculously saved from collapse, a set of panels, models, tools and infographic material were created that document this activity throughout history and explain the techniques used by carpenters. Gothic and Renaissance in its elaboration.
