On the way to the Torozos Hills we find the small town of Ciguñuela, whose four volume tower rising up above the Church of San Ginés acts as a beacon guiding the pilgrims’ steps as they complete the last few kilometres through the cereal fields. The stone houses and 16 th century church make this municipality well worth a visit, but the excellent municipal pilgrims’ shelter is an added attraction.

Sites of interest in this town include the Church of San Ginés and the Chapel of El Humilladero.
