The Spanish-Portuguese international pilgrimage of Nuestra Señora la Virgen de la Salud, patron saint of the Aliste region, is the first Marian concentration to bear such a distinction in La Raya in Spain and Portugal. It is celebrated on July 2 and people from the regions on both sides of the border come to it, although the festivities last 2 or 3 days.

The Virgen de la Salud belongs to what has traditionally been called "the Seven Sisters". There are seven Spanish and Portuguese invocations and pilgrimages where brotherhood and coexistence are lived in its purest form around the Marian devotion that the Alistanos and Trasmontanos, as cousins ¿¿and brothers, according to the saying, have professed for at least seven centuries to these seven virgins.
