It is a late Roman burial monument, tower-shaped, belonging to the centuries I and II. This tomb, typical of the Mediterranean coast, is an exotic work for the half North of the peninsula.

Besides, near the tower there is the Hispano-Roman settlement of Traslashuertas, centre seemingly of villa type.
