Border for centuries between the Christian and Muslim kingdoms, in Soria history was written on stone in archivolts, corbels, capitals and defensive constructions that take on special beauty in the autumn light. In the Arevacian city of Tiermes, an environment of rocks and reddish earth served as housing for the "termestines", making it one of the most impregnable Celtiberian enclaves.
