Ágreda Municipal Palace
The Municipal Palace of Ágreda, currently the town hall building, was built in 1551 during the reign of Charles I. The important urban renovations that Ágreda underwent in the 16th century gave rise to the construction of an artificial platform over the Queiles ravine, where the palace is built.
The current building is the result of various interventions that have taken place over time. It is a Renaissance building built in the first half of the 16th century, with a rectangular floor plan, consisting of two attached buildings, one made of ashlar with Renaissance traces with a façade to the Plaza Mayor and another made of masonry and brick, with brick arches on columns. Ionic on the south façade. The main façade, facing east, presents as its most characteristic element an archway on the upper floor.
