The Museum of Leonese Emigration presents the history of men and women from the province of León, Spain, who emigrated to Mexico to build not the future, but its present. The Museum is located in the Casona de los Pérez.

It is true that the best teaching is the example, and the Leonese who are the protagonists of this museum, instruct us to work the way of our destiny.

The objective is to promote entrepreneurship in children and young people through the example of work and tenacity of emigrants from León in America during the twentieth century, specifically, emigration in Mexico, as well as spread the experience of migrant Leoneses who developed their own businesses in Mexico during the 20th century, promote work and values ¿¿such as honesty, perseverance and respect as fundamental pillars of success, while contributing to the knowledge of local history related to emigration processes in America during the last quarter of the nineteenth century and the twentieth century.
