Museum of Leon
The Museum of León, the oldest of the province’s museums, provides a detailed vision of its history, culture and heritage through a wide range of materials and objects covering the areas of archaeology, history of art, ethnography and other cultural manifestations, offering an insight into the various periods of human activity in these lands.
A space that allows visitors to discover the province of León’s vast cultural heritage through excellent, carefully-selected collections of exhibits covering an extensive period, from the Palaeolithic Age to the present day, with a particular focus on the period of Roman occupation and the Middle Ages.

Today, and after several decades without a fixed destination, it has two facilities: its headquarters, in the 'Pallarés' building and its monumental annex or historical headquarters, in the Church of San Marcos, next to the Convent of San Marcos, which is currently the Parador de Turismo. In addition, it has an archaeological annex: the Roman villa of Navatejera, in the municipality of Villaquilambre.

- From Tuesday to Saturday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Guided tours: General: 12:30 h. Temporary exhibition: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 11:30 h; monographic: Thursday and Saturday: 11:30 h.
