The Museum of the Flour Industry of Castilla y Leon (MIHACALE) was inaugurated on 9 August 2014. It is housed in several buildings in the town of Gordoncillo in the province of Leon, particularly in an industrial complex of over 3,100 square meters which are partially occupied by several buildings which have now been recovered for cultural purposes.

It is accessible by the LE-546 (Valderas-Mayorga) road. Its entrance is in the granary or wheat and flour warehouse, a large building of mud, adobe and wood built in 1937 and perfectly preserved. It has two levels, where in its large spaces, today are held temporary exhibitions of art; it also has a large auditorium with stage and dressing rooms prepared for all types of performances and events.
