Type of route
Several days

Get ready for a good biker road. Route, landscapes and constant surprises will make you enjoy this stretch that begins and ends in two tourist cities declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 1985. Avila, traditionally known as "land of song and saints" and Segovia, presided over by a landmark of Roman engineering, the Aqueduct.

Data of interest

Around

Perhaps one of the most beautiful urban walks you can take in the entire Community may be that of Saint Dominic de Guzmán. This walk begins at the foot of the aqueduct and goes around the city under a thick grove of trees through the valley of the Eresma River, until reaching the San Marcos meadow. All of this is a very appealing spectacle in itself before starting a very biker route.

We enjoyed one of the few relaxed sections of this route until we reached Aldeavieja. From this moment on, the ports will follow one another in a typically biker route.

They are fun ports, many of them with good asphalt and width, and others that are more discreet and difficult that will offer us beautiful views of the Castilian and Leonese plateau or the valleys of the southern slope of the central massif.

Do not miss

  • Cruz de Hierro Port.
  • Port of Mijares.
  • ESA antenna in Cebreros.
  • Pedro Bernardo Port.
  • Puerto de Serranillos.
  • Avila (wall, cathedral, historic center, Viewpoint of "Cuatro Postes"...)

To consider...

In some areas, and depending on the days and times, the traffic of cars, caravans and motorcycles can be intense.
