Monastery of San Salvador de Oña
It was founded by the Count Sancho García in 1011 and enlarged in 1033 by Sancho el Mayor de Navarra. It was one of the most important monasteries in Castilla, and was subject to important reforms in the 17th and 18th centuries.
In the transept of the church are the tombs of the Count Sancho García, his wife Urraca and his son García, Sancho el Mayor de Navarra and Sancho El Fuerte, King of Castilla.
In the corner is a clock tower which dates, apparently, from the first fortifications of the 10th century.
