The Sargentes de la Lora Oil Museum is the first museum of its kind in Spain. It is also one of the interpretive centers within the Las Loras Geopark Project, which allows the visitor to get a clear idea of ​​how our territory was shaped over the last 250 million years, also inviting them to discover other natural and historical spaces. near Las Loras.

The Museum is a building that houses several spaces dedicated to understanding how and where oil originated, how it is extracted and the derivative products we obtain from it. It also has a specific area for the Ayoluengo Campo , the only onshore oil field in Spain, where its origins, evolution and current operation are discussed.

This new building and its contents aim to bring the interesting geology of our environment to the public in a visual and didactic way.
