This shows the history of the forts (castles, walls) by audio-visual means and the frontier area between Salamanca and Portugal, in particular: the history of Ciudad Rodrigo.

Located in the old guard corps of the Conde and San Pelayo gates, different aspects of the fortifications in the area are shown in a didactic and participative way, through information panels, models, plans and various weapons. the Castro de Yecla de Yeltes to the bastioned enclosure of Ciudad Rodrigo, passing by the castle of San Felices de los Gallegos.
Special attention is paid to the urban walled enclosure of Ciudad Rodrigo and its historical importance due to its privileged border location. The visit ends in the San Pelayo guardhouse with the projection of an interesting audiovisual on the evolution of the border fortifications throughout history.
