The deep religious roots and a unique artistic wealth accredit the Holy Week of Fuentesaúco as one of the most important in rural Zamora of Spain, which is why it has been declared of Regional Tourist Interest in November 2023.

This celebration has some characteristics that make it unique. It is the most important in the La Guareña region and one of the most interesting in the province of Zamora. The image of the brothers of the Nazarenes, with their purple suits, crown of thorns on their heads, and a rope around their necks, is striking, especially in their processions on Holy Thursday and Good Friday.
