The town comes from Hospital de Yuso whose ruins still recall the place called Orchard Hospital. Here was born Plaza and church of Murias de Rechivaldo Aquilino Shepherd, Mayor of the Maragatería Drummer. A bust of the sculptor Muñiz reminds Alique this figure since 1986.
