In this berciana fertile plain we go across the river Cua to access to Cacabelos. It is a villa of Roman descent and it is related to the Castro Ventosa found in ancient literature as Bergidum Flavium is also called the geographic center of the great basin from the Bierzo.
Moreover, in this village you can find: the Church of Santa María de la Plaza, the Sanctuary of Las Angustias, the Cacabelos Archaeology Museum, the Mayor Bridge and the Chapel of San Roque (15th century).
