The river Duero bathes the banks of Fresno de la Ribera, in the province of Zamora. A town with a great deal of tourist attractions, apart from the wonderful scenery around the river running through the town. The site of El Valle is nearby, where various ceramic pieces and bell-shaped goblets have been found. The Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción has a beautiful altarpiece composed of four columns from the 17th century, which is topped off with a cross from the same period.
