Although the river Duero does not flow through it, Cidones forms part of the Ruta del Duero. The typical pine chimney pots and a colt decorating the entrance are the best examples of the village's architecture. Also of interest in this village is the Ermita del Cristo de la Buena Muerte, a square-base hermitage with a four-pitch roof and an enclosed portico.
