The church of San Pedro de Lordemanos is presented as a magnificent testimony of the possibilities that carpentry offered for assembly and its adaptation to different needs and uses. In addition to the models intended to roof the upper part of the walls, the qualities of this system were used to build liturgical spaces such as the choir located at the foot of the temple, from the end of the 17th century.

But the most outstanding carpentry work is the armor that covers the presbytery, a completely polychrome work with vegetal motifs of Gothic tradition among which there are many leaves and stems of vines with grapes and cardinas intertwined.

Next to them are preserved two emblems that symbolize the parish and its titular saint (a jug and two keys) to which is added a third coat of arms belonging to the Pimentel, counts of Benavente and benefactors of this parish at the end of the 15th century. .
