18th-century baroque church with a t-shaped ground plan and a single nave reinforced with buttresses and two side chapels.

The original structure was a monastery founded by Chindasvinth, devoted to San Román, and held his mortal remains and those of his wife. In the first half of the 10th century, the monastery was rebuilt in the Mozarabic style and subsequently reformed. It conserves six Visigoth capitals and marble columns; two of the capitals mare linked together. One serves as a plinth and the other as a font.
