Before installing this church, there was a Romanesque temple on this site that would be in bad state, so in the XVIII century, some churchmen born in this place and Martinez and Aparicio-Navarro families, decided to build a new parish factory in 1708. It was built with stone masonry and rough ashlar, the church corresponds to the kind of Latin cross with a single nave, a transept and a quadrangular chevet.
