This 12th century temple was founded by the monks of the Order of the Holy Sepulcher as a monastery. When this order was extinguished in 1489 it passed into the hands of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, to which it belonged until 1849, date on which it became dependent on the parish of Saint Frontis.

The nave is covered with simple armor, originally from the 15th century, but only a few remains remain, and it is accessed through a door with a bent semicircular arch.
