The main altarpiece of Valdavida is structured with a predella, three sections of five streets and an attic. The first contains reliefs with passages from the books of Genesis and Numbers. The round sculptures of the titular saints, Saint Julian and Saint Basilisa, preside over the niches of the central street located above the tabernacle, while the side streets incorporate pictorial panels in which scenes from the Passion of Christ are reproduced, in the lower body, passages from the hagiographies of Saint Julian Hospitaller and Saint Julian the Martyr, in the central body, and passages from the life of the Virgin Mary in the upper body. Above the latter rises, connected by fins, the attic with a relief of the Calvary on a pictorial background.
