The Castromocho-villarramiel bridge is the next piece of hydraulic engineering that the Canal de Castilla has to offer tourists. The village of Villarramiel, a few kilometres from the Canal, is famous for its production of cecina de equino (dried horse meat).
A visit to the Iglesia de San Miguel is recommended. This church was erected by order of Ventura Rodríguez and has preserved its original façade which dates from the 16th century. The church interior houses a statue of San Antonio de Padua which is the work of Alejo de Vahia.
