This village is closely linked to a paper mill whose ruins can be found at the end of the eleventh and twelfth sluice which make a double sluice. The pigeon lofts which are the predominant example of this village's architecture, are well preserved.
In Olmos de Pisuerga, close to the eleventh sluice, the Acueducto del Pendón, one of the Canal's aqueducts can be found.
