As tourists stroll along the towpaths they will come across the Puente de Amusco. This bridge is another one of the constructions along this route. Not far from Amusco, the Charca de Besana is situated. This lagoon draws tourists due to the fauna found in this area.

As the route proceeds through Amusco, the Carrealbar and the El Gato irrigation channels as well as the Fuentemimbre aqueduct and the Arroyales aqueduct which is situated at the 67.5 km mark, are the testimony of this village’s importance along the Canal de Castilla.

A visit is also recommended to the Ermita de Nuestra Señora de las Fuentes. This 13th century hermitage is predominantly Romanesque in style. However at a later date additional work was done which brought in elements pertaining to Gothic style. The superb Mudejar pulpit inside the hermitage dates from the 15th century.
