Facing Aquilarejo, the 40th sluice is situated, surrounded by buildings as the lock-keeper's hut and the old mill.
Of interest in this village is the Cistercian monastery which was built between the 13th and 16th century. Today, the only surviving section of the monastery is the Classicist church. With 2 belfries and a funeral chapel and various sepulchres inside, it has been declared cultural heritage.
