On the right bank of the Almas stream, a small tributary of the Águeda river located in the municipality of La Fregeneda, is this rich deposit discovered in 2015.

It is a large set of vertical rocky outcrops of slate and schist on which there are some 600 engraved motifs that can date from the Upper Paleolithic to contemporary times.

The oldest petroglyphs are 21 figurative representations: 13 zoomorphs (equids, corvids and goats), 7 signs and an indeterminate motif; in addition to a varied non-figurative group composed of isolated strokes. All of them were made using the incision technique, which suggests that they could date from the Magdalenian period. They present solid formal, technical and chronological similarities with the Côa site and some similarities with that of Siega Verde, although they are not devoid of their own originality.
