In the Sierra de Salamanca, vineyards and wine have always been linked to nature and human beings. For centuries, vineyards have been cultivated on terraces, seeking integration with the landscape and selecting the best soils and orientations to produce different wines; wines linked to the land. Since 2010, the DOP has protected the typicality of the wines produced by different wineries convinced of the potential of Rufete and the complexity of the terroir in our area.

Part of the production area falls within Las Batuecas– Sierra de Francia Natural Park and the entire area is part of the Sierras de Béjar – Francia Biosphere Reserve.

White, rosé and red wines. Rufete (main), Tempranillo, Garnacha, Muscatel de grano menudo and Viura varieties.
