León DOP is, like the previous ones, a multi-provincial designation of origin that extends mainly through the province of León and a small part through that of Valladolid. Its main and most notable red grape variety is the native Prieto Picudo, with which great red wines are made, but above all spectacular and aromatic rosés.
Provinces of Leon and Valladolid. Duero Basin (tributaries of Esla and Valderaduey).
Wine : white, rosé and red. Mentioned crianza, reserva and gran reserva.

- WHITE: Verdejo, Albarín Blanco, Godello, Palomino and Malvasía Castellana.
- INKS: Prieto Picudo, Mencía, Tempranillo and Red Grenache.
