Get to know the Lagunas de Villafáfila Nature Reserve, one of the most important wetlands in the north of the peninsula and the best enclave for aquatic, steppe and migratory birds of Castile and León and observe the great bustards, birds that have made this environment the place to live.

Discover the saline lagoons that form in a small depression between the Esla and Valderaduey rivers. Appreciate how this unique ecosystem, vulnerable to desiccation, is protected. Admire Laguna Grande, Laguna de Barillos and Laguna de las Salinas, which change size depending on the time of year. Follow the intermittent streams that feed the lagoons.
