The Ribera del Duero extends in a strip of 115 km from east to west and just 35 km from north to south, covering part of the provinces of Burgos, Soria, Segovia and Valladolid with the river Duero as a traveling companion.
A region with more than 2,000 years of history around wine, whose prestige has reached world-renowned levels. A powerful gastronomy, in which the traditional recipe book - with suckling lamb roasted in a wood-fired oven as the greatest exponent - paired with perfection with the signature stove, with several restaurants recognized with Sol Repsol, BIB Gourmand or Michelin Star.
But the Wine Route is more than wine and gastronomy, it also has a wide natural and cultural heritage to round off our trip: Senda del Duero GR-14 with more than 130 kilometers along the river, Hoces del Río Riaza Natural Park, the Camino del Cid or the routes among the most unique trees.
