Cebreros DOP

Two valleys, one mountain range. The wines of Cebreros are born on the slopes of the Sierra de Gredos , descending towards the north towards the Alberche river valley and towards the Tiétar valley to the south. These ancient lands of Ávila , dotted with history, character and granite, give the old vines raised on their soils an unmistakable, mineral and brave personality. Wines of height, of restrained celebration, of popular and sober events. Continental Mediterranean climate, extreme and snowy in winter, hot and dry in summer.
There are two main varieties of the Cebreros DOP : Garnacha Tinta for making red wines and Albillo Real for white wines.
The sandy soils of granitic bedrock and a more modulated microclimate than in other areas of Castile, give our wines a marked and differentiated typicality.
