The central day of the festival is February 22, when the authorities receive a reception in the church of San Pedro de la Fuente and a solemn Mass is celebrated. At the end, there is a popular tasting of cecina and there is animation of parades through the neighborhood, celebration of traditional games championship, children's festivals and musical performances.

It is unknown when this unique custom of sharing cecina began, although older people respond that they have always known the tradition.
