Lilo is a little girl just like you: cheerful and a schoolgirl. One day, her mom picks her up after school, and they walk home by a different route. There, they discover many things: new words, animals, flavors, and even some wonderful secrets.

The storytelling session is aimed at families, and advance invitations are required at the library starting April 7th. The first half will be distributed starting at 9 a.m. and the second half starting at 4 p.m. (50 places).

The workshop —creating a small artist's notebook in which they can draw or write their dreams—is aimed at children ages 4 to 8. Participation requires a library card and prior registration at the library starting April 7 (20 spots available). Children ages 4 and 5 may be accompanied by an adult.

Marta Camarero Pascual (Burgos, 1966) wrote the text, and Carmen Ortiz Fraile (Burgos, 1969) illustrated it. Both studied at the School of Arts and Crafts in their city and both work as art restorers. Lilo and the Soap Bubbles is their first book.
