The promotional stand of Castilla y León at FITUR 2025 will be "large, open and lively, showing the leadership of Castilla y León as a unique, cohesive and varied inland tourism destination where the participation of the nine provinces and El Bierzo always adds up by betting on the heritage, natural, wine and gastronomic, monumental and festive wealth of the Community". To this end, Castilla y León 's participation in FITUR will have a 909-square-metre stand in Hall 9 of IFEMA, just like last year, where all the tourist and cultural proposals of the Community will be present, as well as provincial institutions, sector associations and the tourism business community, in addition to the tourist brands ' Brand "Posadas Reales"' and 'Rutas del Vino de Castilla y León', recognised as a tourist reference for the Community.
Innovative tourism promotion
The promotion of the tourist offer, under the slogan ' Castilla y León, a film set' also aims to show the great possibilities as an attractive territory to host large film productions, become a tourist reference associated with filming and create new destinations and experiential products related to films and series.
In addition, the Castilla y León stand will showcase the Community's leadership as a heritage, wine and food destination, as well as quality rural tourism. To this end, there will be an innovative and dynamic space, with different and experiential proposals, so that visitors can experience unique sensations that they will only be able to repeat on their trip through the Community.
Cultural and heritage promotion will come from the nine World Heritage Sites, which will have an immersive corridor with high-impact images, which will allow for outstanding promotion. In addition, the Camino de Santiago, as a reference route at an international level, will host an inclusive virtual reality experience that will allow the traveller to place themselves on the Jacobean route itself, starting their steps through the heritage and landscape of Castile and Leon, where the visitor will feel like the protagonist of the trip. And the Holy Week of the Community, with its eight declarations of International Tourist Interest, which place it in the leadership at a national level, will have a virtual reality experience inside a brotherhood sculpture.
Wine and gastronomy will have a major role at FITUR with a glass-enclosed space where product presentations, tastings, samplings and gastronomic demonstrations will be held, which will include the presence of the nine Wine Routes of Castilla y León, certified by ACEVÍN and which make Castilla y León a leader in wine tourism, in addition to the professional participation of the Regional Federation of Hospitality of Castilla y León.
The natural wealth of Castilla y León, which makes the Community a privileged destination for rural tourism, will be promoted through the 33 protected natural areas, the ten Biosphere reserves or the Las Loras World Geopark. The Castilla y León stand will become a leisure space over the weekend, permanently animated with activities aimed at families and the general public attending the fair, who will be able to enjoy the varied and diverse cultural offering of the Community, transferred to the FITUR stand. Tourist boards, tourist groups and town councils will also participate, and will be able to present their tourism proposals, resources and innovative projects.
In addition, the work area of the stand will be converted into a leisure space over the weekend, where various workshops for children and families will be held, to promote the main tourist resources of the Community.
