In the urban area of ​​Nuez, the Fuente Grande or Romana and the Ricasenda fountain stand out, as well as numerous buildings built in the traditional style of Alistana architecture. Of its buildings, the most notable is the Church of Santa María.

The town of Nuez de Aliste has historically taken advantage of its abundant water resources to use power for grinding in the abundant flour mills , the Molino de Lujo being the most prominent.
