Route of the Cid Land of Soria
One of the stopping points on the route as it makes its way across the province of Soria, San Esteban de Gormaz is one of the most frequently mentioned sites in the famous Poem of The Cid. The route takes visitors through Alcubillas del Marqués, Castillejo de Robledo, Langa de Duero or the walled town of El Burgo de Osma. Other sites of interest include Gormaz Castle and the town of Berlanga de Duero, whose first ‘mayor’ was the legendary hero.
