The 37th sluice is situated near the entrance to Dueñas and a little further, on entering Puente de las Candelas, the 38th sluice can be found. The 37th sluice is found situated near the La Estrella de Castilla mill. This outstanding 5-storey brick building along with several well-preserved warehouses, form an interesting attraction for tourists.
The lock-keeper's hut, the 2nd and 3rd of the 7 boundary stones found along the Canal and the Culdeque and the Valdesanjuan aqueduct are some of the other interesting sights around the 37th sluice.
