Before reaching Grijota, the towpath of the Canal de Castilla leads tourists to the 28th and 29th sluice, situated at the 89.5km mark. A little further on, the La Treinta mill and the 30th sluice, both namesakes, (treinta meaning 30) are situated. Also known today as the Casa del Agua. The modern aqueduct known as the Los Cinco Ojos and the Canal's first boundary stone are also situated in the area at the 87km mark.
