The location of Peñaflor de Hornija makes it an excellent viewpoint overlooking the River Hornija Valley. Thanks to its strategic location, it has been inhabited since prehistoric times. It practically marks the start of the Torozo Hills, whose striking landscape will accompany pilgrims for several kilometres.
