Standing on the Main 601 road, linking the cities of Valladolid and León, this small town boasts a wealth of architectural heritage including the characteristic adobe brick walls.
According to the experts, the name ‘Berrueces’ comes from the word berruecos which means a rocky crag or outcrop. In addition, it shares its etymological roots with the name of a stream situated close to Villalón de Campos, Berruez, which flows into the River Sequillo.
This town also includes the following sites: the Church of San Pedro Apóstol and the Chapel of La Pedrosa.
