This town from ancient times has been an outstanding reference citing the Camino de Santiago for the first time in the late fifteenth century in the itinerary of Van Harff. Apparently settled after leaving the nearby village of Naray. There is documentation of the identification of the first foreign pilgrim located in these parts: Bishop Godescalco.
Moreover, in this village you can find: the Parish Church of San Ildefonso, the Chapel of La Virgen de la Soledad and the Emblazoned houses.
