The Valle del Cuco accompanies the Duero on its course through Bocos de Duero, a small village on the side of a mountain on which one has an impressive, panoramic view of the whole valley. The Duero, with an imposing flow in this stretch, drinks from the stream that flows into it here and has the same name as the valley.
Founded in the Roman era, the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de las Nieves, an 18th century Gothic church dedicated to the town's patron saint, still stands.
